Mayor Dave Breton

Dave Breton was born and raised in Alberta. After
spending many summers at the West Cove family cabin, the Breton
family moved to West Cove permanently in 2010. Dave and his
wife Joanne have six daughters. The two youngest girls attend
Darwell School. Dave's family also includes Tika and Koby, two
Newfoundlander-Border Collie cross dogs.
Dave believes that being proactive in maintaining and
improving all that West Cove offers is very important. Running in
the election afforded him the opportunity to meet many of the
residents and share in their concerns. He's honored to be able to
serve his community as Mayor.
Dave has owned and operated a heavy equipment parts
business in Edmonton for the past 13 years but on weekends you can
find him enjoying life at the lake with his family and friends
playing games, cards or roasting marshmallows around a fire. You
might also spot him waterskiing, quading or snowmobiling as he
takes full advantage of what life in West Cove has to
offer.
Deputy-Mayor Brad Londeau

Brad Londeau grew up in Lethbridge and has lived in West Cove
full time since 2005. Brad and his wife Shauna have a seven year
old daughter who attends Darwell School, where Shauna works as a
teacher's assistant.
Brad's favourite thing about living in West Cove, and the reason
he and his family moved here, is that it is a nice quiet
community. Brad is very community oriented, and he feels he has a
vested interest in what happens in West Cove. He became a
Councillor to give support to his community and in return, he finds
it rewarding to help resolve issues in the Village he calls home.
Brad believes that West Cove will see more of its part time
residents moving to the Village full time and calling it "home"
instead of "the cabin".
Brad has worked in school bus sales for the past 10 years. He
enjoys volunteering at the Darwell School. When Brad isn't watching
movies, playing cards with friends and family, boating, fishing,
riding quads or snowmobiles, you'll find him spending time around
the fire pit or going for long walks with the family dog,
Jewels.
Brad also enjoys vacationing with friends and family.
Councillor Lindsay Familton

Lindsay Familton grew up in Edmonton and began spending weekends
in West Cove in 2002. Since 2009, she has called West Cove
home.
Lindsay believes that an increasing number of people will be
leaving the city life within the next few years to enjoy the
relaxed life of the country and has seen this trend realized with
the number of permanent residents moving to West Cove. She enjoys
the fact that West Cove is a family orientated, quiet community and
moved here because she and her boyfriend Aaron loved "cabin time"
so much. She decided to run for Council because she wanted to
contribute to her community in a positive manner. In addition to
her role as Councillor, Lindsay sits on the board of Directors for
the Alberta Summer Villages Association.
Lindsay has worked in the human resources industry for the past
10 years and her current title is Compensation and Benefits
Specialist. She volunteers for charities such as the Heart and
Stroke Foundation and in her spare time you can find her quading,
boating, snowmobiling and enjoying her life in and around West
Cove.
